Japanese movie 「BALLAD　名もなき恋のうた」was released in theaters today. Staring Kusanagi Tsuyoshi (SMAP) and Aragaki Yui in the main roles, this is an epic movie where a present era child travenls in time to the Sengoku era to help 2 lovers.

La película japonesa 「BALLAD　名もなき恋のうた」(Balada – una canción de amor sin nombre) se estreno en los cines japoneses el día de hoy. La película cuenta con Kusanagi Tsuyoshi (SMAP) y Aragaki Yui en los roles principales y cuenta la historia de un niño de nuestra época que viaja a la era Sengoku para ayudar a 2 amantes.

Famous Japanese singer/idol Aya Ueto is the voice of Atom/Astroboy in the new Japanese movie about this famous anime character. The movie is scheduled to be release on October 10th in Japan.

When Aya Ueto was asked what she would do if she had Atom powers she replied with a joke saying “I would send flying with a punch the people I don’t like, but right now there’s nobody I dislike.”

This was the second Asian dorama I ever watched and i really enjoyed it. It’s a love story about 2 high school students, Saki and Sakutaro who fall in love and use a Walkman to exchange recorded messages (story set in 1987, that’s why they use a Walkman). Everything is going fine in their relation until Aki is diagnosed with leukemia.

Takuyaki Yamada as young Matsumoto Sakutaro
Haruka Ayase as Hirose Aki
Naoto Ogata as adult Matsumoto Sakutaro

世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ（かたちあるものVer)
Main song is “Katachi Aru Mono” by Shibasaki Kou. This song is the reason I became his fan and it’s one of my favorite songs of all times.

Plot:
Child Tenko (Otsuka Chihiro) enjoyed hearing the stories of the magic places her older sister Chocolat (Yuko Takeuchi) travelled to. Seven Year laters Tenko has grown up and thinks that those magical places her sister (who is no longer with her) told her about really don’t exist. One day Tenko meets by chance Jidan,  Chocolat’s ex boyfriend, and Jidan shows her some movie clips he got from Chocolat about those magical places.

This is a short movie used to promote some of Sony Ericcson phones in Japan
